Exploring Emotion and Art

As a small-town New England girl, I enjoy the serenity and peace I find in observing and capturing nature in its many forms. I could never in a million lifetimes spend enough time outside enjoying nature, and I have always felt compelled to bring a little of it back with me whenever I am called away. Sometimes that means collecting a rock here or a flower there. As the busyness of college, career, and family-building settles into a slower, more reflective phase, I have begun pursuing fine art as a means of capturing those moments and holding them with me. Whether it is looking forward with anticipation and inspiration or looking back with reflection, healing and peace, each scene carries a little part of my heart, and I hope to share that piece - and peace - with you!
